Opening for business in 1939, the Member’s Dining Room reflects the elegance and class of yesteryear. Towering Chillagoe marble walls are beautifully framed by silky oak and maple sourced from Queensland forests, reaching up past the mezzanine level balcony to its 10-metre high ceilings.
The Members’ Dining Room is the only space in the Club that is exclusively for Members and their Guests, except for certain Club events. One of Brisbane’s best-kept secrets, Members’ are welcome to dine with friends and family or invite professional colleagues to enjoy the most dramatic dining setting.

Non-Members are welcome to attend the Club as a function or event guest, or that of a Tattersall’s Club Member. Non-Members are also welcome to use the Club facilities for corporate events, private functions or weddings.
WHAT OUR MEMBERS SAY
The best club in town by far for many reasons, including its ideal location, ambience, impressive member's bar, regular activities and many interest groups. But I love it most because they have a very low staff turnover and when you walk in the staff know you by name. The food is consistently good, excellent cellar, amazing pool and fitness centre, quiet guest rooms (as good as any 5-Star hotel in Brisbane), function rooms to suit all occasions, full-sized snooker tables, and my favourite: the members' library.
